Not only does Jonathan have a passion for the industry he is at the forefront of pushing the boundaries of the connection between the professional and consumer markets. Jonathan frequently travels the globe showcasing this in many different live and digital formats.
He is currently the Global Brand Ambassador for Fudge Professional, where not only using the products he is working hand in hand with the brand on the creative aspects of launches, campaigns, product development and education. Most notably the concept and creation of “in the chair” an introspective fly on the wall celebrity interview whilst having their hair done.
Not only has Jonathan hosted many hair based shows he has also ventured into the podcast landscape releasing his debut show “this is not what i asked for” with Global Media. In the show Jonathan invites a celebrity client to have a heart to heart conversation whilst looking through significant hairstyles of the guest throughout their lives and hearing all about the life around them.
Jonathan has worked with a host of celebrities and his red-carpet styling is in A-list demand at major events in the media calendar including the BAFTAs, The BRIT Awards and the National Television Awards, Most recently working with the host Joel Dommett.
Not only know for his hair cutting skills he is also a men’s grooming expert on all things skin. This has led Jonathan to become a firm favourite among celebrities and athletes working with clients like Jamie Redknapp, Romesh Ranganathan, Micheal McIntyre, Joel Dommett, Mason Mount, Ben Chilwell, George Russell, Pete Wicks, Adam Thomas, Adam Lambert, Sarah Jane Mee, Vicky Pattison, Anne Marie and many more.
Editorially, Jonathan has styled hair shoots with the likes of ELLE and VOGUE, and has featured in trade press included Creative Head, Hair magazine Hairdressers Journal and Professional Hairdresser to name a few. He has worked with renowned photographer Rankin, and on multiple music video and music artist campaigns. Jonathan’s London Fashion Week credentials include collaborations with runway designers David Koma, Sass & Bide and Maria Grachvogel.
His charisma and confidence in media-facing roles come from a wealth of experience in television, with shows such as Celebrity Juice and This Morning and as part of the creative team on The X Factor, which all feature in Jonathan’s impressive repertoire. Also working with on screen talent for A League of their own, Top Gear, The Jonathan Ross Show, and The Masked Singer.
Not forgetting his status within the highly competitive professional hairdressing sphere, Jonathan is repeatedly recognised with awards from key industry movers-and-shakers, such as Hair and Creative Head magazines, who crowned Jonathan as Best Men’s Hairdresser and Male Grooming Specialist, respectively.
Jonathan’s varied career has seen him work with household brands including L’Oréal, GHD and Schwarzkopf, holding positions as Artistic Director for Matrix, and ambassador for Biolage. These experiences have seen Jonathan carve a path as an industry leader, travelling the globe to showcase his talent to thousands of hairdressers and influencers, and educating his peers in numerous skills and techniques. Most recently Jonathan has been tasked with creative hair direction and the execution of the last 6 years of global campaigns for fudge professional.
